Among the mainstays of the Race for Water Foundation programme –LEARN, SHARE, ACT – teaching the youngest members of society about safeguarding water is undoubtedly the way to ensure the sustainability of our planet. That’s why, with the help of the cartoon character “Titeuf”, the foundation has set out to create an educational pack to raise awareness amongst future generations about the issues of preserving water.
An offer for schools and teachers: show your students the appeal of preserving water in a fun and interactive way and become eco-friendly citizens!

Solar energy
68
Share of the energy produced by the solar panels. This electricity is stored in 8 tonnes of lithium ion batteries enabling a 36h navigational range. In this way, the batteries are recharged each day and then run down at night to enable the vessel to make continuous headway.
Kite
20
Share of energy produced by towing the Kite. In reality, this value corresponds with the energy saved in relation to use of electric thrusters. In appropriate weather conditions,
the kite wing enables us to reach a speed of 5 to 8 knots. Hydrogen 18 Share of energy consumed in our hydrogen store. 200kg of hydrogen stored in 25 bottles at 350 bars. The hydrogen delivers more than 2,600kWh of electricity to power the engine or recharge the batteries enabling an additional range of up to 6 days at 5 knots.
